from 2008 Cut The World, apparently they're from the Phillipines, they remind me a lot of Radio Dept.

also from 2008, this is from their fantastic LP Always, Sometimes, Seldom, Never

From 2007's Daylight Storm, this band from Brighton has been listening to a lot of Slowdive

and this band is my favourite band at the moment, The Depreciation Guild (two guys from that trio are from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart), this is from their first Lp, 2007's In Her Gentle Jaws (reissued last year by Kanine, the label behind Surfer Blood and Grizzly Bear)

this other track, more accessible, more shoegazey, is from the brilliant Spirit Youth (2010), you can purchase it on purple vinyl from Kanine and it includes a card that allow you to download the record onto Mp3 (for free of course)

last but not least Malory from Germany, are indie stars in Japan, apparently. They're also more electro, a bit like Ulrich Schnauss
